On the W600i, the top buttons are used whenplaying games in horizontal mode.

Since the W600 and w550 are physically identical to the naked eye, I would assume that they would be used the same way.

yup used for certain games....the 3d snowboard game uses it and the full version of tht game is hella fun although it gets boring after a few days.
