Does Video on your 8125 Work?

Because mine doesn't...and it never really has.
I'm connected to my home broadband network, and whenever I try to stream anything (ESPECIALLY anything that's 56k) the sound plays just fine but the video skips. This is all in WMP.
I also just updated to the latest Cingular Beta ROM and it's still doing it even after a hard reset.
Is this par for the 8125? Or am I the only one?

What URL are you using?

For example...
browsing to http://windowsmediamobile.theplatform.com/ and then clicking on the last link (the only link on that page that actually works on my phone) titled 'POWER 37k'. Clicking on this video pops up wmp and audio plays just fine while the video skips. This has always been the case for my 8125. Is that normal?

Actually...a couple of the videos do work whent he server responds...but that doesn't change my framerate...
For example, I'm watching the harry potter lcip right now at about .5 frames per second. Yeaaa...Yeaaa

Wow... 77 views and not a single person owns an 8125 and has tried to watch video... that's just amazing!

Hey. For what it's worth--
I am watching streamed video from my laptop using ORB. It's choppy and I am about to ask about the sync issues during playback.

Wirelessly posted (HTC-8100/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))
My video works perfect.

I record TV shows with my TV tuner, edit the commercials out
and watch them on my 8125 as .wmv files. Here is what I've found so far.
1. Videos are choppy if played from Main Memory. They play nicely from a storage card.
2. Videos with a higher resolution (like 720x480) play choppy no matter where I put them. I have to re-encode my videos for the Pocket PC screen (320x240).
If you are watching streaming video from a website, check to see if they have a lower-bandwidth version of the video, which will most likely have a smaller resolution and see if it plays better. But like I said, even short clips at the proper PPC resolution play choppy on the 8125 if played from Main Memory. Video playback is in fact the only area where I've seen the 400 MHz processor on the PPC6700 performing better than the 200 MHz processor on the 8125.
