Hi guys... i had a quick look and did not see any other threads like mine.

i have a New motorola V262 phone. service provider is Telus mobility in canada.

I bought a real motorola USB cable and got the MPT version 4.

i am able to connect to the phone and synch phone and calender, and i am able to send sms.

whenever i try to load the file transfer tool... then phone loses conection and stops responding.

is there better software i should be using? or do i have the wrong driver?

manually tell MPT that your phone is a v710m. you also may need a seem edit. search in the verizon/motorola forum.

it can be done and it does work.
