Hey All, Vote on The Pole To determine The Phone of the month!
Note: this is not official And phones chosen were chosen by popularity...so no complaining! (ie "where is the P800!")
Remember, this is for fun, and for usefull information!
These Phones Made The Cut: (Average phones for advanced users) :
Nokia 6100
Nokia 7210/6610
Nokia 5100
Siemens S55/S56
Motorola T120/T125
Samsung SGH-S100
Panasonic GD87
Sony Ericsson T68i
Sony Ericsson T300
Other (please specify in a responce if you chose this option)
Those Are the Chosen Few...(you wont find any REALLY fancy phones on this list, so dont complain that these phones suck...They are just the ones that are more popular and people tend to ask about them a lot, so i think this will help.
PLEASE vote...the more opinions, the better.
Excuse the spelling errors...THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL!

Out of all my phones,I would pick the Samsung S100/S105

Posted by: hardtarget35

For one,the S105 has a better and brighter screen than the 6100

Secondly, the S105 is a bit bigger and has a roomier keypad for easier dialing

Third, ringtones were too soft on the 6100 compared to the S105

Posted by: ralejand

OTHER:

Mot. v60g

===> to each his/her own....I know there are better phones out there but I love my v60g...

Posted by: cmc0

Now it looks like the Samsung S100/S105 is winning

Posted by: hardtarget35

Roger That...So far, the only phone i can find that has everything in it is the S55...Looks like that will be my next phone (unless the V600 comes out in the next 3 months )

Posted by: Moonlord

Im gonna go with the Nokia 6590(i).

Posted by: Ryan1524

T39m - i know it's old, but it's still my favorite..

as for the current ones, my picks:

High-end
Samsung SGH-V205
8910i
P800
S55

Mid End:
6590i
8390
V60i
6100

How do I post new messages so people can talk about it???

Posted by: DROARULES

Does anybody know who these guys are b\c they are always on this forum thing and I don't know how to get a hold of them? Can someone help me out. Does anybody want to register a domain name cheap.

Posted by: Goldskin

Ericsson R520m; still the best-sounding and well-built phone around. IMHO.

you click on the button at the top that says "new thread"

Posted by: KiSsTiNe

i voted for other because the NOkia 6590 isn't listed on there.. i thought the 3360 was the best phone i've owned, but after getting the 6590, IT'S the best phone i've owned.. it's a nifty phone..

Of all of the phones I've used for the entry-level market, I'd have to say that the Nokia 3300 series takes it. It may not be the best at any one thing, but it makes a decent all-around balance. Its strengths include its ridiculously easy menu system, WAP and ringtone composition capabilities, and its never-broken $100 price tag. Of course, its internal antenna doesn't have the best reception, but it finds its signal quickly.

Posted by: hardtarget35

Cool vanilla...im with you 2. A good phone is one that is cost effective, nice and easy 2 use with decent features

I agree, that's why I love my S55!

Posted by: iGrooveLA

is the 8390 for me! had a t68i but i love the size of the 8390 and the white light! so cool...i also love the faceplates and w/the 7.8 FW, the nokia menu system, it's pretty awesome!

Posted by: shyne

I guess Sanyo 5300...

But to be honest I haven't used too many other phones, so my judgement may not be the best. But it is the only phone currently for sale that has a built in camera.

Posted by: urbanlegend

I'm lovin' my v60t!

Posted by: elee102

any flavor of the v60i series

Posted by: krazo

v60 series for sure

Posted by: the digitel

LOL, the v60 is one of the most problematic series of phones i've seen in a while.

Posted by: raver0600

i like the style of the v60 but it lacks so many things. Like no alarm, only the calender reminder, cant vibrate and ring at the same time, and boring games. If motorola could improve on those id be all over it

Posted by: firedane

I like my LG TM510

My Pros: Bulletproof hinge
Great signal in Cleveland and south
Good front case screen information
Good battery life
Price was reasonable with Verizon
Reverts to analog nicely (Youngstown area)
Rubber keys are easy to feel and locate
Bright screen at night
Works on vibrate + ring mode
Voice dialing very accurate
My Cons: Quirky menu - had to get used to it
Hard to put in desktop charger
Not too many accessories compared to a Moto
A bit on the thick side compared to a V60 series
Needs a larger voice dial database
Hard to get to alternative entries in phone book

No samsung V205??

Pansonic GD87 though...Full colour screen and a build in camera and with 200sms storage although no bluetooth. That is really bad but over all it is a good phone.

I think people are voting with a misunderstanding. Best for consumers? Heh, most of us here are not "just" consumers, we are more like enthusiasts. I think "best for consumers" should be clearly defined.
