Connecting ROKR problem.

When trying to connect my phone to my pc ( for the first time ) i get a buble saying new device found", then another saying "new device installed an ready to use" then i get a third one saying "unrecognized device, this device is malfunctioning or this device is unknown....." It is the same in memory card or data transfer mode
i can put any songs on my phone or access anything on my phone. When trying to update my phone driver, there's a message apearing saying "The wizard cannot find a better match for you hardware than than the software you have currently installed" but when looking carefully it one of the description box it says "no drivers installed"
Is this problem beacause of a problem with my phone or something else??
Can anyone help me please!!

point all new devices to install to the folder you install mpt or pst

Sorry, i'm new to all this. Can you tell me what does mpt and pst mean?
