Anyone interested in meeting up to show me how to do all of these modifications? Willing to pay for gas/beer/pizza whatever. I live on the northside of Houston. Would be willing to meet or have someone over here.

I have tried to follow these forums, and get stuck on just getting the phone to be recognized on my computer.

Did you read the Motorola subforum of the main Verizon Wireless forum? Read Mark Venture's site yet? It's really not difficult at all if you read up on what you're doing. Mark's site has instructions with pictures.

Yes, I have read and read. I screwed up starting out, and now my computer will not recognize my phone. I have trouble shooted this to no avail.

I figure there is someone here in Houston that enjoys doing this/teaching and would be willing to meet in person. I could discuss ideas I have, and we could make it happen. If more than one person wanted to meet, that would be cool too. No liability would rest on anyone, and we could just have a good time.

Then, once we all know what we are doing, there would be more to assist in the community. There are a lot of people here that just don't get it. I know it isn't hard to many of you, but then there is the inverse. I have read and read, and am getting no where. My girlfriend is now getting crabby b/c she feels I stay in front of this thing too much.

Anyway, I'll keep reading until hopefully someone volunteers.
