Trouble With V3i With Itunes

Hello there im new to posting in this forum but i have read a number of posts and found this place to be very informative....

The trouble i am having is that im trying to add ringtones to a V3i with itunes but nothing seems to be working.. i have a copy of MFT (Motorola Phone tools ) and i also have that v3 usb driver that is floting around the internet.... i have added ringtones to other razors without a problem but whe i try to get moto phone tools to reconize this razor it dosnt seem to work...i am on the rogers network in canada if that info helps anyone

i cant helpp but wonder if they made it so you can add ringtones to this phone... i dunno but i really could use some advice at this time....

yes you can add ringtones, why not? forget the whole mpt thing, do this

on your phone goto
settings -> connection -> usb settings -> select memory card

connect to your computer

on the computer goto
removable drive (x:\)\mobile\audio\
copy the songs (ringtones) to this folder

safely remove the device by using the system tray

now go back to your phone
menu -> multimedia -> sounds
press menu -> select switch storage device -> memorey card (can be transflash/card insted due to the flex youre using)
press "0" to add a check mark to the songs you
press menu -> move -> phone

now goto
menu -> settings -> ring styles and select desired ring for profile (ie loud viberate silent etc.)

ok bluemoto im gonna try this right now thanx for the help if i have any trouble ill holla back and let you know.
