You don't pull the charger connector straight out. Apply pressure to one side of the connector as if you are trying to snap and break the connector at a 45 degree angle, and it will come out. This is actually covered on one of the first few pages in the manual.

no worries i had a nokia before and i tried to yank the power connecter out (kinda) out of my t68i i got recently
then i found out only comes out at a 45 degrees = p
