She said it is exactly the same phone except the TF card (which will only play WMA) but everything on the phone memory will still work as it does now. She also said that you could put MP3's and pics on the TF card from a reader on the PC and "move" them to the phone (not copy) but so far no one has figured out how to do that yet.

I couldn't find any instructions in the documentation on how to transfer songs from my Windows PC to the phone, but I eventually made my way to Motorola's site which informed me I needed to browse on the phone to the SYNC MUSIC feature under GET TUNES & TONES menu. Then I launched Windows Media Player 10, and it found the phone just fine. Synchronizing songs was easy. I checked off two MP3's I had in my library that I had previously ripped in iTunes to MP3 192kbps format, hit the Sync and it was done in a couple minutes. WMP did say it was doing some sort of conversion during the process, so I don't know if it converted to WMA, but when I go to GET INFO on the song in the phone, it displays as a 192kbps file. The music player (and the entire Verizon menu for that matter) sux. It's response is slow and not as intuitive as my last Samsung phone. But the phone looks nice. I've listened to the songs thru the phone, which plays like speakerphone mode, and also thru a wired headset. Both sound like a 192kbps file ought to. Have yet to receive my Bluetooth headset yet. |

* press the menu buton * press 0 * enter 000000 (all zeros) for the password * and then at the bottom select music player or mp3 or something like that and enable mp3 support Can someone with the phone see if this is a possibility? |

After you transfer the MP3's to the phone by whatever means use P2KCommander to set the attributes to "System File". So this way the phone will think it's a factory installed MP3 and should work correctly. You won't be able to delete the MP3's through the phone or Master Clear them either but you can just undo the attribute any time you want to delete one. Also if you just use P2KCommander to transfer the MP3's it will automaticaly set the attribute to "System File". Give it a try it should work.
