i've played with the 902sh and what i really like about it is the screen resolution, it's crispy clear, however i think the phone is overall too big, how does the screen of say a panasonic vs7 compare? or v3x since it's also 240x320 resolution, i've also saw the benq-seimens EF81 on ebay, it also looks really nice, nec n840 looks pretty nice also, how do those phones compare to the 902sh? i don't wanna spend too much money, just a nice 2 megapixel camera phone with some cool features such as picture ID, mp3 ringtones and such, nothing too fancy.

I kind of feel the same way about the 902, that's a little too big, but I think it's worth it. The v3x is only a couple of millimeters thinner and most of the others sacrifice too much for their size. The Panasonics don't have memory card slots and the Motorola is supposed to be poorly made with a bad menu system. The EF81 comes the closest, but it's kind of plain looking and very expensive. It also doesn't have the 902's cool rotating screen that makes picture taking easier. If you can find a 902 in your price range, especially in one of the more unique colors (green, orange, or metallic grey), you won't regret it.

the V3x hasn't such a bad menu system.. it even get better from the others old motorolas (E1000, E1, V635 etc..).
the V3x has a pretty nice screen, but it can't compare to the one in the 902SH..

what other 2mp phones out there have screen resolutions of 240x320 that are relatively inexpensive? i've seen a bunch of nokias but they are in my opinion overpriced, the k750 has a horrible small screen. the vs7 is bigger than the 902sh, so i think i would rather get the 902sh than the vs7, but i really like the design of the v3x, and the benq seimens ef81 looks amazing, i can't think of any other nice phones in the 250 to 300 range. if you had to pick, which one would you choose and why? i'm not as worried as what the picture quality will look like on the computer as to what it will look like on the phone. will you be able to tell a difference between the screens? i'm thinking at 240x320 all the pictures taken will look relatively similar on a phone screen.

I'd probably take the 902SH, because the speakers, and the screen. beside that, it has a better camera & video.
but it ugly, huge and heavy (near to the V3x).

for the V3x, there is more style, more comfortable (for me), and much beautiful than the 902SH. Also it (V3x) has a lot of pc software and you can improve it by some of those softwares.. for me also the OS of the V3x are much better than the 902SH (i'd played with it few weeks ago..), much easier, better looking..
but that is my opinion.

you order it from the internet?
search in some cell-stores and ask to play with it (902SH & V3x), what you prefer..

my brother has the 902sh so i've played with it plenty and i really like the screen, but i've never got my hands on a v3x or ef81, to me, all you need is a good enough camera and a brilliant screen, i'll keep more pictures on my phone than upload them to get them developed. but the v3x and ef81 designs looks much better than the 902sh. my e815 right now takes pretty good pictures under ideal conditions but on the phone it looks like crap because the resolution is only 176x220, it's when i upload it to the computer that it looks alright.

the V3x has a pretty nice screen, but there is some problem with it. when you capture a picture from the camera, and want to put it in your main display, it get blurry and real sux. i know that it happened in the orange IL f/w, but it happened to me in the E1000 too, so probably the defect is in the OS itself.
you better check it before you deside what better for you, cause both has good screen and camera (only the V3x look muchhhh better..).

NEC screens are pretty good, but the Sharp's are still better. My N412i, even only having a 176x220 screen, is extremely crisp and bright, even in power saving mode. Full power hurts your eyes lol. But, they're quite comparable on screens if my experiences are anything to go by.

when the v3x is taking pictures, does it show up on the whole screen or is the motorola userface still taking up almost half of the space? what about while viewing pictures, does it show up on the entire screen? i've read that the panasonic sa7 has a 2.5 inch 16million color screen, has anybody seen that?

Yes Moto changed it with the V3x, it now shows pictures full screen rather than just the top half.

But yeah, you should be asking in the Moto forum.

for that price i will get the w810 hands down just for functionality~

i'm not gonna comment on the look tho because it doesn't grow on me either~ but i appreciate the 2.0mp with autofocus~~ at least it doubles all the function of the v3i and it only cost 20 bucks more~

i really don't take the trend... i mean i hate the design of the new motorola line up, the buttons don't feel like an electronic device, it feels like... well just a metal bar~~

and very thing is just so hard i guess it's only good for lady~~ (i can see tho cuz it vibrates hard~)

curently u wont be able to get any nokia in that price w/ a 320X240 screen get a panasonic vs6 if u want bt/ and 2 mpx cam / 16Million colours 320X240 or even vs3... tho it doesnt hab bt but panasonic's are cheap now adays easily get one for cheap =D but size wise the vs7 is about the same as a 902 in width and length vs3 is about 703 or even a D600

yea and the vs2,3,6,7 has terrible battery life... i mean terrible lol my friends vs7 wonot last more then 1 day he dont even talk on his cell hahaha...

804sh is relatively smaller compare to 903/904 and it has 2mp cam.

2mp depending on whether you want auto focus or not, because if you are use to the quality of 902 photos you will need autofocus, which means your choice will be narrow down alot

If the budget is 250-300 usd, then the only choose are 902t and maybe 903t. A brand new 902sh would probably cost more then 300.

a brand new 902sh would definitely cost more than 300 dollars as its near impossible to find now a days.. you might have a better chance looking for a 802SH. for 200-300.. a v802se is possible.

o.O??? wow totaly didnt understand but neways found this V3i for 230 haha so i was like wow lets see some pics he tookem and send it to me ... it was a regular black V3 so i asked him what mega pexil the camera's at he said 4.....

V3i? nope its a v3 with 4mpx camera which in the pic clearly states " vga "
haha then he said his phone has been flashed to the itunes version and i can put 400 songs inside.
