Ok, So I went out and baught a GPS reciever from ebay thats supposed to work with my AXIM.

Here is the problem, the GPS unit I bought has a real weak internal antenna. Barely stron enough to work with the google maps software that runs on my desktop, but not strong enough for anything that runs on the PPC. There is a spot on the outside for an MMCX antenna, but the only ones in the area are like $80 bucks.

I happen to have an extra car antenna from when I baught a roadyxt XM radio for the house. the connectors look almost the same but are not quite right.

Any one know what kind of connector the RoadyXT's antenna uses? is it MCX, if so then all I need is a MCX to MMCX adaptor....

any help, much apreaciated.
