I am new to this, so forgive me if I am doing something stupid. I also searched the forum, but didn't get any hits. Anyway, I select a ring from one of the samples in MPT 4 & hit "transfer to phone". It shows up on the phone, but when I go to play it the message says "ding Corrupt. Delete? Wassup with this. It happens on all three of the samples. I did notice that they are wav files & are apparently being converted to mp3 on the fly. Am I doing something wrong?

i have never used converted mp3 files, i use mp3's that i downloaded or the ones i converted from my cd's then i use sony soundforge 7.0 to open the mp3 and i use that program to cut the mp3 i want example the corrus of a song, once i know which part of the song i want i save the song to 84 or 92 kbps if you dont have enough space you go lower but since i did a clean up job and flashed my v3 i have over 9 megabytes of space exactly 9178 bytes.
if you need more info let me know i'll help you out more
