would the SE w810i be worth my money?

any suggestions for a slim/sleek phone, with less weight and with a 2 or 3 MP camera that will work on a t-mobile sim card?

Since you're using the phone on T-Mobile, you might want to consider the k750i/w800i as cheaper alternatives to the w810i. The Samsung e900 looks like a slim/sleek phone too.

I use the w800i on T-Mobile in the San Francisco, CA area and sometimes have problems getting a signal. I'm pretty sure it's b/c of the lack of an 850 band on my phone - a few times I've been out with a friend whose 850-capable motorola phone gets T-Mobile reception fine where mine doesn't. And this is in a major metropolitan area. So the lack of 850 has been a bit more of an issue than I thought it might be. I've thought about selling the phone to get an 810i (quad band).

Aside from that, the w800i is an awesome phone. The camera is fantastic (as long as you're in decent light) - people are regularly blown away when I send them photos and tell them I took them with my phone. I usually bluetooth the photos to my computer and then email them. The Walkman sounds great, as well. Only minor complaint is managing songs is a bit wonky on a Mac - I have to use shareware apps that don't always work so well. If you've got a WinPC you can use the SE software.

Samsung D600 also has a 2mp camera and is *tiny* ... Samsung P850 has a 3.2 mp. Panasonic makes some kind of nice flip phones with 2mp cameras that go a bit cheaper than the SEs ... but don't have as many features.

Of course, SE just announced the K790 ... 3.2 megapixels ... drool ...
