Hi all. One of my mates just got an LG U8180 on the 3 network in Australia, and it has no games on it. He asked me if I could put some games on it for him, because I've got quiet a few games in the .jar and .jad format, but I'm not sure how to put them on the phone. Is it possible to transfer games onto the phone using the USB cable, and if it is can someone please advise me how to do it, and what format they have to be in, and anything else I need to know. Thanks for your help.

YES I CAN HELP YOU

Step 1. Enable Java folder by pressing on the phone..... Menu , 5, 3, 3698 #,*,#,1

Step 2 Connect LG u8180 into computer using Lg Phone manager you should see a new folder called java.
Step 3. Click and drag .jar + .Jad files into this folder ( only install 1 game at a time)

Step 4. Disconnect phone from PC and press Menu, 5, 3, 3698, #, *, # then 2

Repeat these steps for each game you would like to put on the phone

An easier way to install java games into the lg phone is to use a program caleld Gthing
