iTunes isn't a "driver" - it's firmware and flex-specific. If you have a non-US (i.e., not from Cingular) SLVR L7, you (probably) won't get iTunes to work since it requires both a specific bootloader on the SLVR L7 as well as specific firmware/flex. As of right now, there is no way to flash a non-iTunes SLVR to have iTunes because of the specific bootloader that is required.

As for an MP3 player, you have the MotoPlayer installed on your phone already. It might be possible to use the WinAmp java player as well. Do a search, as it's covered in several posts already.

I have this same issue.

I purchased an unlocked phone, and it had the moto player on it. I then sent it back to the comapny to get the Cingular update... once i recieved the phone back, there is no moto player, or a itunes section anywhere.....

also once you get Itunes on the phone....
#1 Do you have to use itunes to get music on your phone?
#2 If i have an ipod, do I then have to get ituns on a seperate computer for my phone?
#3 does the itunes compress the music better, because without it i can only get like 10 songs on their.

please advise
