i got a sidekick 2 off ebay about 2 months ago. everything working good i loved it. its about 3 of us in my city with the phone because tmobile is not a carrier down here. anyway i got up saturday and it kept saying insert sim card. its one in there. so i called every support level. i have a new sim card on the way

....so while waiting i called a friend and she tried my sim card. nothing is wrong with my sim card. good thing they said it was free. so ne way she tried her in my sidekick 2 and it still didnt work. so the tech said that the sim contacts in the phone was bad. since the sidekick 2 sim place isnt like most phones is there a way to fix this. they said i can get a replace ment but i have to contact the person who gave it to me and then let her do it for me. im so hurt i have no phone.

has this been a problem yall heard of?

My Sidekick II no longer recognizes my sim card anymore as well, starting as of yesterday, and I have no reason why, so if anyone has any info, that'd be great.

and NC252boi, are you in Elizabeth City/Camden area? I live in VAB and was down in EC on Sunday. I like going down there every so often.
