P2k Commander Bug

hi, i need some help with the p2k commander program. i can get the program to work on my computer, but only if the folder is on the desktop. if i move it anywhere else i.e. program files or C:\\ or my documents....etc. the program never opens! i tried it on my brother's computer and it works fine, IN ANY DIRECTORY.
and anyone share some insight.
and btw, my problem is not the drivers. thanks.

check task manager? is it still running? end all p2k processes and then restart (after you move it to its new directory, of course).

yes it is in task manager and i already tried that...the same thing happens...the star shows up in the system tray, but the window never opens...it just hangs there.
only works when the folder is on desktop
