V800 Flash Questions

Ok, I have been searching the internet and a lot of places for a while trying to figure out the answers to my own questions but to no avail I just keep going in circles confused by everything I read so I came here hoping someone out there can answer some of my questions.
If I bought a V800 that is unlocked (i.e. one available on eBay or one of those sites) and flashed it to R1J002 that would enable Japanese input and text support and mp3 support, will it work? I have read everywhere about people flashing their 802SE's with it but will it have the same effect on the V800?
Also, is there a link to the forum that talks about what flash program I can use for all this for I just can't seem to locate it.
