Little problem w/ metroPCS V3c...

Hey everyone. First id like to say thanks to those who have contributed so much to this site, its been rather simple finding ways to make my RAZR a littile more personal. Now onto my problem...

I had been messing around with some seems the other day (2742_0001 byte 07a AND 2771_0001 byte 0020) and was having fun chaning around some options and getting rid of some metro banners. But last night i guess i toyed too much w/ the 2742 seem that my phone is no longer working.

I have been using p2k seem V4710. My phone seems to freeze once it loads up to the home screen. Where the receptions bar stays at ZERO and i cant connect through USB any more. Th only way i can connect to USB and mess with the SEEM is by taking the battery out then connecting it.

I had saved my original 2771 and 2742 seems but when i upload them back to the phone (w/ battery out and screen says 'cannot charge') my phone still doesnt work. And i knoiw the seems have gone through because when i power cycle it i can see on the outer LCD that it changed back to 'metroPCS' when the phone is open.

Also, my phone seems to refresh every minute as the minutes do increase but any button presses are unresponsive. Is there anything i can do or is my phone bricked for good? Id appreciate any help you people can provide.

Nobody can help me out? Is my best bet just calling up metro and saying my phone was lost/stolen? (i have the insurance) The least bit of help would be greatly appreciated, even if it is just telling me to give up on the phone.

If you just got it tell them you dropped it and it came out like that, maybe they can reboot the whole phone..Also search forums to see if theres a button combo to reboot the phone, much like safe mode on a computer. If not I suggest you go to eBay and buy a new phone or something. Seems are something I don't like to toy with so I don't know much about them but I do know a lot about customer service. Always threaten to drop the service provider if you don't get a new phone and always make sure you are talking to the highest ranked employee in the store. GOOD LUCK!

just wanted to say thanks for replying, at first i was iffy about saying it messed up on its own because ithought they would check it on the spot and somehow know that i messed with the seems.

but went today and got it switched. thasnks
