anyone has this phone? can you get it to connect to PC with USB?

thanks in advance

I've got the phone and connection's successfully secured via USB.First, install PC suite from the CD.Plug the fone in.Install the driver when asked by Windows.

yup, or you can install PST 7.2.3 and plug your M1k to your PC, when it's asking for driver point it to C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST...then you'll be able to use it on modem mode, normal mode and flashmode...

I have M1000 and connection between PC and the phone works.Try again, plug the phone in with the USB cable to the PC.Run the pre-installed DESKTOP SUITE software on the phone. If the PC can't not connect to the phone, unplug the phone from the USB cable and try once more.Check if you plug the cable correctly and firmly.Enjoy!
Normally, you'll use the cable to connect to your PC but I myself dont use the cable, i bought a card reader, it'd be faster to copy, install and do what ever you want to the phone.
Recommended software for your M1000:
-S-man 1.4 : it's a free, powerful software,including fiel explorer,zip manager and many useful features.

I also have this problem...

I tried everything and no connection...

in MDS when you click on settings it tells me the phone is connected, but in the backup tap and everywhere else it tells me to Connect the Handset...

I tried updating the MDS and MRouter and no changes

Oh, Mrouter also tells me the phone is connected and I can surf the internet with the phone while pluged into the computer via USB...

Everything else fails... cant install, blank filemanager etc...
The only thing that works now is moving the files directly to the TFlash then inserting it into the phone and installing...

This SUX...
PLEASE

Click on the mrourter on the system Tray. And then choose all the port in the list. Then try to connect again. It's let the work done.
