Weak V710 Signal :-(

OK First foo I'm sorry if this is a repost since for me it seems to be a common problem... This is the THIRD time it has happened to me, The v710 or e815 both after a while just started loosing signal strength and now has about one bar everywhere. On this particular occasion its a V710 and it keeps going into analog mode... this phone is not abused and has SW vers 1.43 on it flashed by VZW themselves... Any thought on what mechanically or mentally could be Effed up with my phone?? (The past 2 tims it was insured and i got new ones, but... They actually cut me off!!) Haha Thanks guys!

Any thoughts at a little more reasonable hour ;-)

has this seriously happened to me and only me on 3 separate occasions... I know I'm broke, but I can't justify myself to toss an otherwise perfect working phone...

you can flash the v710 to the new firmware also try a different antenna i have put my v265 antenna on mine and got one more bar from it lol.

Sweeet Thanks bro, I'll try those and if anyone has experienced this I'm all ears!

im stuck with the same problem. Telus has replaced the phone once, and it seems like the new one is affected by the same problem
anybody has a clue as to what is not working properly?!?

Also could be the towers too could be verizons fault. Since the v710 is going into analog I know where the tower went out at girlfriends area where she lived her analog would make a call and her razr wouldnt so.

I went to Motorola's site and found NO links to replacement parts or repairs. Have you a URL for that page?

Thanks, I found it and do appreciate it very much.

Be careful of certain stubby antennas. I bought one at DayDeal that was almost as bad as having no antenna at all.

Avoid:

Very Good:

(I ended up pulling off the retractable part to make it look like a stubby and the signal strength remained very good).
