*748#96 to start test mode

end will clear it. didn't want to post in samsung or phone forum because only employee's *need* this info.

Wirelessly posted (QTek 9100: HTC-8100/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

We should probably start a thread that lists the test mode of all the different handsets (namely the RAZR) so when we exchange or try to diagnose problems we don't have to go hunting around. But thanks for the info!

277634#*#

this actually gives you the engineering menu on the phone.

Ok excuse my ignorance, but what are these codes useful for?

Is this for the razr or the lg?

ok i got it on my lg three diffrent menus, now what so the screen mean i tried this one *748#96 i just tried the other one and there is a phone test mode and under modem settings there is a fcc section that brings up the band list and wcdma and it lists 1900/850 no shock there but it also lists 2100 is this just a generic menu ?

Posted by: Isriam

no idea. its a fcc test menu. you don't really need that :P

Posted by: Isriam

as a side note, through engineering menu i changed gsm to AMR-FR and my audio on the gsm side improved greatly.

any test codes for the v3 yet?

Posted by: Isriam

what do you mean test codes for the v3? go read the motorola forum on how to add engineering menu to the razr. it doesn't have a test menu like LG.

Posted by: NukuCamui

No need to get snarky pal. Someone had asked about it in a previous post and it was basically ignored.

Posted by: Isriam

because it shouldn't have been posted here. the v3 has been out for years, there are thousands of posts on how to add engineering menu to any motorola gsm.

Posted by: NukuCamui

Then post this in the LG forums as well so thousands of posts can be started over there as well.

Posted by: Isriam

read the title of the thread. please stop responding to things if you a) are not an employee b) have nothing to add.

Posted by: NukuCamui

1. I am an employee
2. I did have something to add, such as a question. As I stated before, someone had asked a question and I was seeing if the answer had been given. There is no need, once again, to get snarky over something as trivial as this.

This topic is going nowhere, thanks for the information but I dont think there's anything more to add.
