After read the "pop-port to 3,5" mod dunno if it is here in this forum but still
i wanted to make something that sounds better and still got the
mic, volyme and button funktion without changing phones so here what i did.

And for those that still wants 3,5 here is a easy way to do it with mic, volyme and button still working, and yes it is in stereo.

just dont do it like this use some schrink cabel and some fines this was just a test.

How does the 3.5mm headphone jack work in full stereo if the nokia headphones use R+ R-, L+ L- but normal headphones use just one ground (R/L is shared)?
The koss headphones on the other hand should be in full stereo.

hmm.. interesting.. i did an HS-23 mod myself.. but my unit only has one screw to keep the board in place within the housing.
the unit itself only has the clips/tabs to hold the two halves together (not 4 screws).

my first attempt was on the HS-3.

FYI:

The speakers are 32 ohm each, for the record. Crypto-facist customer support at Nokia would not divulge.
