Euro firmware also supports mp3 ringtone.

No, mmf is different audio format. You can make your own mmf ringtones using yamaha wave sound decorator.
Search forum for old threads about making ringtones (mp3/mmf).

they come out really loud if you do ma5... i had a person msg me the other night.. she had set the tones to ma2.. it was really quiet and horrible she said. but when i suggested converting to ma5.. it made a lot of difference

so by changing my fone to a euro firmware I can just directly upload mp3s to my 902SH as ringtones?? because I have a HK firmware, but I still need to convert to mmf b4 uploading or else it will say illegal file and cannot be inputed.?

No, at last not directly. First you have to download one drm mp3 and than you can do a trick that lets you use any mp3 as ringtone.

uncle.. u cannot use the same method on the HK firmware right??? cause right now I have the HK firmware and tried putting the dm file in my sound&ringtone folder.. but the phone does not detect that file therefore cannot transfer from card to fone.. and cannot pick as a ringtone..?

have you tested them with 903 yet? or 904? some of the se games dont'w ork well with sharp

You have to download AE86.dm through your phone browser.

how do you know what firmware you're using??

well.. if you have japanese langauge on your phone.. its japanese firmware

if you have chinese.. you have chinese firmware.

if you have english + a lot of euro languages.. its euro.

now.. if you have chinese but with messed up icons.. you got hybrid.
