Sanyo 8200 settings issues

This is my second 8200 phone. I am now having the same issues with my current phone that I had with my last phone. With the first phone, Sprint told me that it was issues with the phone itself and they sent me a new phone of the same model. I am now convinced that the problems are due to the model.
Here is what is going on:
My phone has a mind of its own! I will have my phone set on vibrate, and the little vibrating phone icon will be present, but the phone will randomly ring. Strangely enough, it seems to happen most often when someone whom I rarely talk to calls. Secondly, it decides it wants to change its roaming setting. I will select 'SPRINT' as the roaming setting, and sometimes it jumps to digital roam. I go to my settings, and alas, the phone had decided to change its setting from my selected 'SPRINT' to 'Automatic'. I would select 'SPRINT' again, and it will work for a little while and then jump back to 'automatic'.
I called sprint and after 25 minutes, they said they can't do anything.

Any suggestions?

I'm surprised you got a 8200 again. I thought those phone were not available anymore. My 8200 was broke, and when i took it to the sprint store so they could fix it, they brought me out a brand new in the box mm-8300 for free. I didn't even have to pay the $50 deductable with my insurance.
