I see that the ISO file is about 75MB while the software on Cellphoner is 45MB with the Onenanddownloader. Is this completely different flash? |

It is the same, and it is for a full flash. |

I was thinking maybe uncheck the dont auto nand format in order to erase any possible remaining effects form the flash the first time, but I am unsure if auto nand format ruins the phone if unchecked does anyone know about this too??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

2 questions and i couldnt find the answers searching. My previous volume side button would mute any incoming calls. can someone tell me what the new button is to mute an incoming call ? ive pressed all of them and they dont work. the setting under phones/incoming calls is set to MUTE for the volume button. my side button simply lowers and raises the sound. it also lowers to 0 so i guess i could just lower it to that and then turn it back up - but thats a pain second - ive been having a problem with outgoing calls ringing, and then connecting to my callees, but they cant hear me and i cant hear them. if i hang up and call back it will then work fine. ive only had this issue after the flash. and it also occasionally happens when someone calls me. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. i used the fc1 flash and the update otherwise im eccstatic over the phone thanks all again ed |

However, i do know that you can flash your phone using a uart usb cable, that is one that can use serial port emulation software. I don't know where to get one though, but i'm sure if you search hard enough you could find one for the T809. And I don't know of any mac software that you can use to flash your phone, there might be some out there, but I don't personally know of any. Good luck getting your phone flashed though, you'll love it when you do. ![]() |

Here are some details I wanted to share. bought the SAMSUNG USB UNLOCK DATA CABLE SGH D800 D900 T809 T629 T from AweXInc on ebay on 7/27 and it got here today, 7/31. He emails the driver for the cable to you. Used OneNANDDownloader_v18_Lite and D820XAFC1. [NOTE: For the USB cable you can/should set the port speed to 921600.] The .bin took approx 8 min. The .tfs took approx 16 min. Total time: 24:28 (Much faster than the speeds reported for using the serial cable) Then I updated using D820XEFF1_freezefireMod_v2.bin. This took 9:31 Played with it the last hour adjusting settings and loading the following: Opera mini Google Maps Flurry mail All appears to be working great so far. As noted elsewhere I believe, the gmail app does not work. It causes the phone to shut off. This is why I am using Flurry. It gives you gmail plus quite a bit more anyways. Off to play somemore now ![]() |

Now, all you need to flash your SGH-T809 to the SGH-D820 firmware is the flash cable from phantomgsm on ebay, or to make your own. And to download the .iso file I created. Once you have these two things, you can either mount the .iso file using a program like daemon tools http://daemon.alphabravo.org/daemon403-x86.exe or you can burn it to a cd. Once the cd is mounted or burned, it will autoplay and a batch file will walk you through the process of flashing your phone. If it does not autorun, just open the disc in my computer and select open "run.bat" If you guys have any problems, post them here. Also, let me know what you think! Here is the link for the .iso file http://rapidshare.de/files/22633006/T809Flash.iso.html p.s. this is the FC1 firmware, and it will erase you IMEI number. |

Would anyone have the .iso file listed here and would be willing to reupload it? I've always loved the look of the T809, but hated how I couldn't use Opera Mini or mp3 ringers and I just found this post about flashing it. If anyone could, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! |
