oh soryr . i didn't read properly the first thime.. u need a chrome polisher.. probably.. brasso woudl do.. but thats mostly for plastic. go to your local hardware store and look for a chrome scratch remover

Posted by: datasphere

that will make things worst as most chrome polisher are slightly abrasive.
u see circle of scratches.

how u guys prevent scratches??

are there any protective flim that i can paste on>>

At rona we got this chrome polisher which will work however i;m not sure how thick the chrome is on the 904 cause as u polist it removes a bit everytime so... soon it might be all black... oooOooo ehehhe.. no

but i've used screen protectors to stick on to the chrom surface soon ( 2hrs ) it came off.. need smth crazy but not so crazy

oke so azn boi 's screen protector version is down, any method?

hahha.. yeah.. scratches are bound to appear even if we baby the phone.. we need to think!

just an idea, but I remember reading on ilounge.com ipod nano forums that some guys are brushing the shiny metal surfaces of the ipod with steel wool, to give it a brushed look and it doesnt get scratched at the same time.

if the lens and plastic are masked properly it'd work for the 904sh i think

my 904 is alright, stays at home 95% of the time

*knocks on wood*

my sharp goes anywhere i go to... =p i leave it at home only when i don't feel like lugging a brick that certain day.

Posted by: Timsta

hahaha.. bring it clubbin.. take it swimmin.

Posted by: angel_wing0

well but u cant use it as a phone just yet thou, i dont feel like bringing my 903 and 904 together

Posted by: sketch143

i bring my nokia 3120 and my sharp 904sh.. i'm still waiting for my vk2000 to arrive and i'll use that as my backup. It's mini size will compensate for the bulkiness of my 904 baby. =)

Posted by: Timsta

haha.. we all use back up phones now

Posted by: datasphere

u all bring it around naked in pocket or in pouch???
wah sure not fine scratches???

that mean i damn unlucky.

not a good idea at all, i can see ipod user doing that because those are real metal in the back, the one on the 904 isn't real and it's just a chrome on the plastic, if you do the metal polish thing it's gonna scrape all chrome off leaving a plastic base~

Posted by: Timsta

yup thats true. its not real plastic.. there goes the ideal of chrome polisher.. what u need is to go to a hobby shop and find touchup chrome paint

Posted by: john0213

and i don't know why i dont' really like the polish surface of the ipod at all, i perfer it shiny and clean~~

Posted by: Timsta

lol. i rather it scratch proof period.
