What formats does the sx313 play?

i know many ppl have asked this and yes i have done a search but am confused cause different versions play different formats thats what i have read. I have 703sh flashed with the sx313 firmware. I know it plays m4a, aac and mmf. What all other formats does it play? Also for a ringtone which format would you recommend for like real voice tracks? Something that is lound and clear

Also i found out the phone plays 3gp does it play any other formats? thanks in advance for ur help guys

i have some songs encoded as m4a's and they sound nice, loud and clear. so if my phone couldn't play mp3's, i'd choose m4a next based on experience.

i tried using m4a but am getting "cannot assign due to illegal file" the file length is 30secs. i don't get it

aac - m4a.. mp3s.. depends on firmware to play aac files guys.. just like the 903s. what firmware do you have?

It's SX313, like the title says. When playing music it can do all the file formats you said, as well as MP3. But I'm not sure if MP3 ringtones are supported...

i tried m4a format what i did was thrim a song to 30sec and then convertered it and then uploaded it but when i tried to assign it it says illegal file something like that wat i said in my first post

Hmm... was the file less than 300KB in size? The phone has that limitation as well.

Otherwise it's possible it doesn't support ringtones. I'll wait for Tim to confirm this one before responding again.

no.. no mp3 ringtones for sx313. but yah. it should be less than 300kb
