okay i dont know if anyone had seen this before or not but while i was in KPST service programming i was in the help topics under the display topics..and about 1/4 of the way down there is something called flashing lights and here is what it says:Flashing Lights

The backlight flashes in accordance with the selected option when an incoming call or text message is received: Disabled, Fast Flash, Slow Flash, Heartbeat, Rhythm.

but it doesnt show that in the service programming so i was wondering if anyone knew how to unlock it or if you can download a newer version of kpst (if there is one) to unlock this because that would be really cool to have.

although come to think of it you cant even see your keys when your phone is closed...if that is what it is talking about?

Meh, Its a feature used on the candy bar phones, probably just a very basic part of the OS , and it's either disabled or enabled depending on the phone...I think...I dunno. I Know that I have the same menu on my 414, but, it's not in service programmming, its inder settings. BTW, whats KPST?

oic yea i didnt figure it was for the kx5 once i got to thinking about it... and kpst=kyocera phone support toolkit
