Does anyone know how to change modem mode to normal mode?

I'm trying to edit the seems with LeaderGL Flex Editor becuase P2Ks didn't work for me.

: . Am I doing something wrong? In order for the LeaderGL Flex Editor to say "modem mode" not "not connected". I have to change the USB setting of my phone from fax/data back to memory card. And connect it with Motorola Phone Tools. Then the LeaderGL Flex Editor will say my l7 is connected but in modem mode. I've try to connect my l7 to the LeaderGL Flex Editor without connecting it with Motorola Phone Tools first and change the USB setting to fax/data. But once I click the "Normal" button then it will say that I'm not connected. I've been searching to see if theres an answer out there but still no luck.

You cannot connect with MPT then another program....Connect with RSD lite or MFF first then LeaderGL will connect....

I can't even get my phone to connect with RSD Lite.

And what is MFF? Thanks!
