Small BlackBerry, Big Problem

I have a BlackBerry 8700r....Had no problems with it up until today.

None of the buttons (ie: power button, back button, scroll wheel, etc.) on the outside of the phone except the keyboard work.

The scroll wheel scrolls, but you cant click, nothing happens on screen. The power button has no effect, same for the others...

WTF!?

Is this a hardware or software issue?

Try removing the battery and holding the power button for one minute. Then reinsert the battery and see if that cures it.

If not it could Be a case of how cheaply made the devices are. If you got a dud contact Robbers and have it swapped out.

Well I tried the power button thing, didn't work

I'd return it to Rogers, but I had bought it second hand with no receipt... what should I do?

If your within the one yr. warranty you should have no problems seeing it's a Robbers branded unit.

Wirelessly posted (nuclear signal: BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/109)

Used 8700's don't seem to be worthwhile, unfortunately. I've read a few threads recently where people have been burned with them...

I had one that did that once due to liquid damage. You get it wet? Previous owner reputable?
