I bought a Scandisk minSD card is that ok?

i bought a 512 mini SD card by scan disk, but i read rite now that the sharp 703sh which has the sx313 firmware only takes panasonic. Is that true? Can i upload video true the data cable onto the phone I don't have a card reader

mine is sandisk and it works fine, lol

not sure about the data cable since i have a card reader, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious problem.

Sandisk cards are fine. Whoever said only Panasonic cards works doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

oh thanks man i just ordered it recently with out checking to see if it was compatible and then read in some thread abt panasonic so got paniced. oh one more thing do i need to get a card reader or will i be able to upload files onto the card thru the phone by the data cable

do i really need it. damn i better get rid of this phone so much expense. the panasonic reader is like 60-70 dollars. say if the card is in the phone and u send an m4a to the phone via ir or data cable can't it be stored in the sd card or i can only upload stuff onto the sd card thru a card reader. u know what i mean?

you can send things into the memory card through data cable

you DONT need a panasonic card reader unless you want the jukebox

you can ebay card readers, got mine for like 5$

oh yea i have a questions too~ what does the jukebox do? is it like a mp3 equilizer like the itunes?

err.. u need your facts straight. if you have japanese firmware. and you want to listen to mp3s and can't get m4a format.. you need the panasonic card reader and the sd juke box to convert into sd audio so your phone will play this music. this is the case for the 902 and not as necessarily for the 903sh.

Hahaha yeah, scandisk sounds like it comes from one of those asian ebay sellers that were tagging 128mb cards with 2GB labels and selling them as 2GB hahaha.

. when someone in the thread told that scandisk are asian market copies of sandisk. I went back to see if i indeed bought the sandisk or scandisk. thank god its the original sandisk. i got it for $21 canadian for the 512 miniSD with the adapter. Is that alrite price?

My dad has wholesale accounts as he's a computer consultant, so I ask him for his Username/PW to their online websites, do some research, and go pick it up from the warehouse. Normally get it for about 2/3 the price of the ones from retail stores.

yah.. the prices are dropping for every type it seems. 1 gb regular sd card for 19.99.. like holy cow.. and 1 gig mini sd for 40.. and 1 gig microsd for 49... finally price droppage... even the memory stick is droppin in price
