I've never seen a customer come in with a bill that had details of data connections. Has anyone else? Is this standard or some form of detailed billing?

i've always seen everything detailed on a customer's bill. texts, data, and phone calls.

I'm so gonna set my email to check every minute and download EVERY attachment I safely can.

Just once I want a bill like that. Just to say I got a bill cingular had to pay freight on.

So cingular does send out a detailed bill with data connections on it? Is there no way to turn just the detailed data billing off?

i'm sure there is a way to do a summery only. I'm in a COR store and customer care usually handles that stuff so I'd just call and ask them.

yeah mine's always been detailed. I have two lines and have yet to receive a bill of less than 110 pages.

There's a code for data detail billing separate from airtime detail. I've never added it, so I believe it automatically gets put on.

yes, it automatically gets put on. they just need to call care and have it removed.

It's not something that can be removed from with in opus using the "view feature detail, view include/exclude"?

and the day they stop doing this automatically the customers will freak out.

then they should ask customers if they want detailed billing or not when they sign up.

Posted by: BellaDea

it's not a feature we in the store can remove even during sign up i believe.

Posted by: holaDude

It's a billing feature and can be disabled easily by calling us in CS. Well, at least for those of working in telegence. We can also remove detailed air time.

It is a standard feature on the account and is turned on for new activations.

i think it should be turned on by auto. dummy proof things.
