I am wanting to replace the housing on my phone due to some major scratches and scuffs, can someone give me detailed instructions on this?

There's not much to it. Use a T6 (torx) to remove the four screws from the bottom, then go around with your fingernail. The two buttons might fall out, but the only thing you need to watch out for is a small metal contact, which you can see in the space above the label if you look at it sideways before you open the phone. Just remember where it was, because it may fall out. Pay attention to what's behind the buttons, because that part of the board with the contacts for the buttons will need to go back where it was.
For the top of the phone, there are two screws under the removable faceplate, and two under the rubbery bumpers that are glued on at the bottom under the inner display. Pry those off and unscrew, then use a fingernail.
Just be careful lining everything up when you put things together. For the bottom, the part that contacts the side buttons will go between the buttons and the housing. Put the +/- button in place first, then put the housing part way in place, with the contact part of the circuit board in the slot. Put the camera button in after the part of the board with the contacts is mostly in place. Then snap it together.
For the top part, what comes to mind is alignment, and make sure that the area of the board near the vibrator has its hole over the little peg. I mention that because my vibrator did not work when I got it because whoever rebuilt it did it wrong. I got mine on eBay from somebody who claimed it was new, but he really just changed the housing and flashed the firmware. There seems to be a lot of that going around. As a result, I had to take it apart and fix things.
If you've worked on other Ericsson phones, this is perhaps a bit easier, but I can't talk from the perspective of somebody who never took one apart before. Just don't force anything. There are no hidden screws or anything. Things snap in place and unsnap relatively easily, but take your time.
