how do i install games on Toshiba 904T?

hey i have a buncha java games but i cant get them to work for some reason , the manual that came with my toshiba 904t says that i can store java (*.jad and *.jar) files in my other files folder , but whats the point if i cant even figure out how to get them to work , how can i make them work without having to use the phone to connect to the internet to download them ?

why is there a games and more folder if i put games in there an they dont even show up on the phone , even after i sync with memory card

You can only download games through WAP. Games you download and store on the phone can then be copied onto the memory card through the phone's menus.

I am just curious how you transfer them on the memory card, hehe. I got a couple installed but they cannot be synchronized with the SD card.

i dont get any errors or anything, im curious why there is a games and more folder on my sd mini , if i cant just put my own java games in there
i dont see why they would need to be downloaded thru the phone cuz that doesnt make sense.
in the instruction manual it said *.jad and *.jar files are able to be stored in the other files folder
but i do that an then when i try to open the file on the phone it goes into the details of the file
ppl were sayin they get errors when tryin to sync with the memory card , but it seems to work fine for me, just the games wont show up and its annoying :P

I agree about that, since I also checked in my own manual and it does say that you can put JAD's and JAR's, just that we don't know the magic directory

I know that on the motorola phones with memorycards they have a special secret directory that you put it in to install the application, which is called kJava.

i emailed toshiba UK and asked and they said they arent familiar with the 904t contact japan even tho i tried and couldnt find a contact us, im like ummm well shouldnt you know since your with the same company , but they keep sayin i have to contact japan so i dunno what to do :P

look for the synchronization menu.. but i'm sure mark you've fiddled with that already

and then the games ive got on the memory card dont show up in the list even tho they are there
but if i put them in the other files folder then i can get to them from other files but they show up with a ? mark as if they arent recognized

i have the same problem with my 903T, does anyone have updates yet in how to install apps?
