Well, don't know what to say, will try my best to explain.

My phone is V3i and is putting friends number then I found out that the phonebook display like this....

Mary
999-1111
Nova
444-5444 <--- home
Nova
6669494 <---- cell

How can I put both numbers under one name such has

Mary
999-1111
Nova
444-5444 / 6669494

and how can I deactivate the the side key ? The keys that are located on the side of V3i screen ?

go to your Phonebook......

Hit Menu......

Go to Setup

Then change the "View" to Primary contacts

that should resolve your issue. Then you'll scroll left to right to dial an additional number you have stored under that name.

No way to deactivate the side key I believe.

just remember if you use the scroll method instead of using the view softkey, the number you view last will become the primary contact.

you can do several things to the external keys, from re-assign them to lock them, just look around.

disable the side key by enabling in seem 32

offset 29 - bit 1: Settings > Security > Lock Keypad (1 on, 0 off)

now press menu then * to lock the keypad and you need not worry about it again
