Well, Afonso, I was doing something constructive which unlike yourself, requires a little ambition and desire. Instead of trying to be a smartass & cute, why don't you just try to be smart & original?

By the way, Lexus, I really like the color of your phone! If it's photoshopped, great job, if it's not you have a unique P800. Phone colors really don't affect phone performance or features, which is what I believe should be accurately posted in this forum. Any of us can change the color of our P800 (except for Afonso, because he doesn't have one

) with a can or two of spray paint.

I recalled taking a photo of a "Jamacian Grey Rainbow" P800 while visiting there last year. I understand that these P800s are sold almost "exclusively" in Portugal now............

Those are bad fakes. He just masked some stuff out and grayscaled the rest. Colors on the antenna connection and logo are way oversaturated.

I have always liked all silver color on any model and I used to have Siemens SL45 and Sony CMD Z5. I`d like P800 in all silver, like in Die Another Day...

I believe the grey P800 case is for sale at GSM Phone Source. I ordered one 9$55 US) but I don't think they are in stock yet. Site says 14 days. If it is an interchangeable case it will be cool. I'll let you know after I get mine. GSM Phone Source even has P800's in stock, in the US (Las Vagas) and tell me they can do P800 firmware updates!!

I'm wondering if any other colours will be coming available - the mineral gray doesn't turn my crank, nor does the original blue. I like the darker colours of some T68i models.

Seriously! I've never been able to spot it on the phone! And I've had the bottom plate off, looking for it.

I think the microphone is on the bottom, left rear of the phone (rear being side w/o keyboard). Small hole there - is that it??

I was able to remove the top plate over the battery but not the front one where the earphone is located...I guess the new pieces will come with instructions....or Bengalboy will surely know. He has figured out most everything on the P800!!!!

Great phone - I should have mine back from GSM Phone Source with the latest firmware today - yahoo!!

Strange design (mic in the back).

Doesn't that cause your voice to be too low to be heard by the other side?

what about talking outdoors (windy conditions), doesn't the mic placement cause problems?

I am not sure that it is the mic - but wherever it is it is very sensitive and yes, the wind and background noise can be an issue - but I had that on my T68i also. I do lots of conference calls while traveling - thank goodness for the mute button which also works great with my Bluespoon Bluetooth earbud. This is great stuff!!!

One of my neighbors has the p800, its not my thing. But my 8890 should be here within a few days.

Guys, I have emailed GSMphonesource several times about my order for the the new grey cover but have not gotten any response from them. Its been around 2wks and still no cover. The web site still states 14dys ETA but I think its going to be a lot longer then that.
