hey this is my frist time posting here, but im currenty in taiwan for vacation and wanted to move back to sharp from my k750 (had a old gx22 then a k750...pretty big jump lol) but i wanted to get a 903sh while im here, does any one know where i could get one for a good price and know the seller is relable. thanks for any help guys

ya that is true, but i dont really have family here, i came here with my gf, but her friends and family dont know much about this seeing how she's just here to see her grandparents etc (ya they dont know about sharp phones, lol) so i was just looking for any well known store i guess...idk thanks for the responce though =)

hrmm.. try a electronics mall. .but you knwo what.. if you convert the price. u shoudn't pay more than 600 for hte phone nowadays.

well my gf's friend has this phone, but he told me he imported it from japan when it first came out so he has no idea where is a good place to get it in taiwan. another thing he told me is he heard u can find it for around 12,000-14,000 NT...so like around 400 should do it? hummm, i guess i'll go try and find some malls that sell phones and stuff, but i've been reading about all the diffrent fimwares, is there a easy and quick way to check which ver the phone has and which one u think is best overall, cause i read the filmware overview but i cant decide which one seems best...i kinda like the way the taiwan ver. sound except the menu icons not matching?

The TW version is called the TX-W91, in case you were looking for that.

No there isn't; there's no Vodafone in Taiwan.

There are numerous ways to find it in Taiwan.
Perhaps the easiest is just Yahoo Auctions http://tw.f5.page.bid.yahoo.com
They are typically the cheapest and the shipping cost in Taiwan won't exceed 80 nt (2.5 cdn)
Another place you can find it is at 神腦 Electronics store, it is a nation wide chain, so there should be some where you live.
If you live in Taipei go to the Hsin-i Business Area, they have a lot of cellphone merchants there, just look around.
In Taichung, most of them is by the Taichung Central Station
In Kaohsiung, I know for sure that there is at least 5 shops you can try on Jian-Kuo 1st Rd, near the Taiwan High Speed Rail station.

Then again, I would recommend you buy at a reputable cell phone store, as then they offer warranty and unlocking services.

fareastone is as cloas as you get to Vodafone in TW i think. i'[m pretty sure on that. and they aren't the same.

buy from a reputable company and make sure you didn't buy a 2006 edition

i think the fareastone's Gx32 looks alot better then voda's or even smartone's the 903 is a bit awkward just cause its missing that voda sign ... so theres this right spot

WX-T91 has extremely stupid FET mark on it and some functions seems be nerfed(not so sure), i don't suggest u to buy that.

In taiwan, the best way to buy imported SHARP phones is to find vendors on Auction website called Yahoo Bid(tw.bid.yahoo.com). They also do the unlock work. Just search 903sh there and choose a vendor with good credit.

haha thanks for the responces...but ya it seems like online auctions r the way to go, but i've vistied a few stores and they all offer around the same price as online auctions (around 16000). but i'll keep looking...hopeing i find a dirt cheap one =), but any ways whats wrong with the 2006 edition and how can i tell? =)
