not sure what I'm doing wrong but I have tried motorola unlocker and after all is said and done and yes I followed instructions to the letter, i still get the response "contact service provider" this is a T-mobil phone with ver 8.23.
I did the rsd lite 2.5 also the simcard remover software. it is a RAZR v3.
If this is in the wrong area or not to be discussed here I am sorry, but just frustrated

yeah u cant post unlocking questions here...... but u entered the code wrong too many times thats why u get that question. i dont think u can unlock it without contacting the provider. just my 02 cents before this gets locked.

Motorola Unlocker doesn't work on every V3 (even though it SAYS it unlocked the phone.) It worked on my V3, but not my GF's or my son's (original or replacement.) It's hit and miss.

But since you're T-Mobile, just call them, and they'll give you the code as long as you'veben with them more than 90 days. Or pay the $25 to GSMLiberty.net and get it done.
