Question about WebSessions Menu on Razr

I finally got the WebSessions menu to appear on my T-Mobile Razr V3 with a SEEM edit. Now of course I have questions about it.

I set up a different setting option so I could use Opera Mini as my WAP browser, which works fine. My question is - when I change to different options (the options are the java session I created, MMS, T-Zones GPRS which has a lock symbol next to it, and t-zones. T-zones is what appeared when I got the menu to work) under WebSessions, does it affect only web browsing on the phone, or does it affect what I do when I tether the phone to my PDA? I already have a proxy set up on the PDA. I just wondered whether they are both operating and if this can affect speed.
