I bought an 8700c off eBay and the person who sold it to me did not unlock the device. Is there anyway someone can assist me in getting an unlock code. The criteria to get an unlock code is to be a customer for 90 days, well I am not and I have no way of getting it.

I live in Canada and I don’t have a Cingular acc.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out, I cannot do anything with it until I get an unlock code, my blackberry is more like a paper weight right now.

Please help!

Well if it can be done for free, why pay $75 - $100 for the same thing? Its not a big hassle too!

Welcome to the world of purchasing a BB from eBay. Here's to hoping you don't have warranty issues. Search unlock or unlocking for that matter as the topic has been beat to death.
