Hi All,
Just got my SE 600i today, and there is a major problem, i'm not sure does anyone have this problem on theirs as well

Once i paried with BT headset it work nice and good. however when i away from the BT headset or turn my BT headset off This is where the nightmare come in.
Everytime someone call the phone will ask "transfer phone to phone" then i press yes. but the phone still no sound. the only way to get the sound back is you have to manual transfer to Phone from menu. This isn't happen to all SE phones they use to be the best in BT function. Anything or anyone can help with this matter?

If you reboot the phone it will get back to normal. but this shouldn't need to happen.

Go to Sony Ericsson's support site and download the software updater. Update your firmware and then get back to us.

However, I have had something very similar. After 2-3 times of disconnecting and reconnecting my bluetooth headset (IE. Walking out of the room and back), the phone and the headset fail to connect up. I have to restart it and then it works fine.

Sad really.

just go to sonyericsson.com and download the software update application.. pick any new phone.. like a w800>go to all support and select update..

install the exe and run the update and viola new m600i firmware

I have the same problem. after pairing with a headset there will be no sound coming out of the speaker, its very strange. i also have other problems with the phone locking up or not able to go online until i soft reset.

I cant find the firmware update on the site, can anyone post a link?

Thx for the info, i just updated the Firmware and the problem solve.
Just goto support and select P910i, which is what i select. then just update from the computer. take 15mins.

The uptade procedure requires the use of the "c" button.

Does this correspond to the letter "c" on the QWERTY keypad of the M600i? This phone does not have the classic "c" button of other SE phones.

I was able to upgrade the firmware sucessfully (used a different computer, that had not seen the USB drivers yet)... everything worked flawlessly. It was needed badly, because it seemed that the phone waas slowly becomming a brick.

After I falshed the new firmware, it seemed to solve many of the problems I was having. Including getting IM+ to log into Google Talk, works great now!!

now only if I had BB connect....the phone would be every thing I have wanted.

Nice to hear that. and does anyone instlal the SW that come with the phone and used exchange to sync as well?
