New memory card - now no itunes

I bought this new 512mb microSD card for my V3I this week and it arrived today and I put it in my phone and then I connected it to my computer. iTunes launches normally but then I get this error - "iTunes cannot read the contents of :/H" (:/H is my V3i). What do I do? On my 256mb card itunes works perfectly.

Did you try formating the card?

use a card reader, first format the new card and then copy everything from your old microsd card to the new one, then put the new card into the phone.

and use itunes as normal.

I have a 512 and a 1 GB for my rokr and v3i the card is swapped between the 2 phones and works perfect.
