Earpiece Volume Lowered By Itself (Even after P2kTools edit)

Hello, I perfomed an adjustment to my Black RAZR to increase the earpiece volume using P2Ktools and increasing the Gain to 4 (Basically I followed the great directions from this forum). The volume seemed to be fine for the last couple weeks since this was done, but I recently noticed a drop in earpiece volume again. I have done nothing to cause this and have not even connected my V3 to the computer since that time.. Any ideas? Is it possible that the earpiece volume can go back to the way it was without any changes being performed? Just curious..
