I've hunted here and on google and I cannot find a way to disable the shutter sound. Has anyone done this on the Q yet?

I though by law the shutter sound cannot be turn off. May be I am wrong.

I dunno...all the camera phones I've had (including the 9800) let me shut the sound off...Im figuring its a registry edit somewhere...

I looked through the registry and couldn't find it there. I'm not sure how to shut it off, but I'd like to as well. I shut it off on my old SMT5600, so I was under the assumption I'd be able to do it on this one as well. If anyone finds out how to, please post it!

You need to edit the registry.

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Pictures\Camera\OEM\Sou ndFile

Set it to *none* (symbols included)

Is there a Camera>Options>General>Disable Shutter Sound checkbox? There is on imate phones.
