I've seem to be having an issue with my Address list. All of my contacts are listed two times in the address book. One is from the SIM and the other one is from the phone memory. I want to just used the phone memory address and delete the sim ones because I can assign ringtones to those contacts in my address list. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Delete the SIM contacts. Highlight the contact press menu and delete or use MPT to delete all with a few clicks.

I also want to delete the SIM contacts but once they are deleted and i want to copy the contacts stored on the phone back to the SIM will the phonebook show double contacts again?

I think it will show double contacts again..unless you just move all the contacts to the SIM card

Duplicate Entries (SIM and Phonebook)

You have two options: Either delete all SIM contacts or assign your phonebook entries to a 'Category' other than 'General' (SIM contacts are stored under 'General'). Then in the phonebook menu select to view only the category you assigned them to.

Just curious isnt it better to delete all the contacts stored in the phone rather then the sim

If contacts are stored on the SIM only then you cannot assign Ringer and Picture I.D.
