problem charging v3 razr after flashing

flashed my v3 razr with the 10r flesh yesterday. decided it was okay since i could still connect pk and other prgs to the phone. the phone died over night.. low batt. now when i try to plug the phone in it doesnt charge at all i cant get it to turn on. anyone else with this problem?
any suggestions on reviving it besides using someone elses batt?

okay i got it working.. apparently i couldnt charge the "off" phone via computer usb. it has to be on.
if i am wrong please correct me
