P910a Contacts Question

I synched with outlook for contacts. When I go to contacts I get no list, regardless of whether it is flip up or down.
When I go to the phone and display as icons I get icons that are numbered 1-9 and it says empty on the bottom of each.
If click on one that is the only time I get the list of contacts that has been imported from outlook and even then, I have to select one from the list and it will reflect the name on the icon.

There is a lot in the manual about working in and with contacts. Does this mean that I have to enter and create each one manually? Also, is there a way to make the only visible list I see go to the contact folder.

Even when I follow the manuals instructions for creating a contact, again, flip up or down, I am supposed to do /Contacts>New and go from there. When I click on contacts the phone dims slightly, and stays in the same screen. What am I doing wrong?

Is there any program that manages contacts that is better than what is provided.

Sometimes these phones get "touchy". I usually just turn off, then on again and it usually gets things back on track. Even removing the battery helps while its still on.

I've see times when after syncing, I may lose a contact or two. Wish I had a concrete answer for you.

I bought a disc full of software and game from the net but i can't get it transfer into the phone do any body know how to do it or what kind of emulator i would need to get for my p910 phone

Install Sony's Pc Suite, this will let you install software to your phone.
