I downloaded ramble onto my 8700g with tmobile and when I try abd log in, it says error connecting to tunnel or something like that...if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. I'm at work right now on the BB...everthing else works...email, internet, phone, text...just got the phone yesterday.

Thanks, VJ

My ramble stopped working as of yesterday. I can't log on. And when it does. I keep getting logged of. I think it's a problem on their end.

I'm trying to get verichat and google talk to work...

Verichat says the same thing...can't open tunnel. Wtf does that mean? Is it a problem on tmobiles end?

do you have wap.voicestream.com set as your APN?

When my Ramble stops working, I usually turn the wireless off then back on and it usually starts right back up again. Don't know if that's the same situation here, though.

invalid connection string: bad DNS address

Straight from the Ramble FAQ. I had this same problem...

What does 'Invalid Connection String: could not open tunnel- failed' mean?

When you try to login to Ramble and receive this error, or a similar error, it is likely that your device needs to be configured to properly run Ramble.

If you are a corporate user, you should check with your system administrator to ensure that MDS is enabled for your device. If you are a carrier user, you will need to configure TCP and set Ramble IM Options.

If you're not sure if you're a corporate user or a carrier user, your email address can help you figure it out. Let's say your company is named Foo. If your BlackBerry email address is yourname@foo.com, you're probably a corporate user. If your BlackBerry carrier is MyCarrier, and your email address is something like yourname@blackberry.mycarrier.com, you're probably a carrier user.

Take a look at the configurations page for information on how to configure your TCP settings for use with Ramble.

This is the link to the configurations page...they dont have the 8700, I used the 7100 settings and it worked.
