Install themes on M600

Ok, I must be stupid. I go to the SE site and log into my account. I download the theme. Than I log into the SE Wap site using my phone. I go and download the theme into a file folder, but I can't open or install it?? What am I doing wrong? Someonew help

I would like to know this also. I also feel very stupid for not being able to figure it out. I appreciate the help.

I haven't found out how to do it unfortunately. I installed the theme and it's always a .dd file which can't seem to install.

Found a way to install Sony Ericsson Downloaded themes.

Go to Sony Ericsson's wap site here
http://wap.sonyericsson.com/fun/mxh...&dn=M600i&lc=en

Download the theme you want to your desktop and open it using notepad.

I'm goig to use the theme "white" found on the Sony Ericsson site.

When you open it with notepad you should see a url address inbetween the tags <objectURI> . It should look like this for example

<objectURI>http://www.sonyericsson.com/downloads/fd/03/White_M600.utz</objectURI>

Copy the url and paste it to your phone's web browser. It would be easier to transfer the downloaded file from your desktop to your phone and open it as text. Copy the url and paste it on your browser.

It should ask you to save. Save the file, then click more, then open, and then it should ask you to install. Be patient and wait a while after you click save so it Downloads the file first.


That should worked, it worked for me. Let me know if you need help

Thanks.............I have to try it when I get home, but there must be an easier way. I downloaded the white theme as well, but there are two files that start with URL, so which did you use?

Do you have the UTZ file for the white theme you can post here? I'm still having problems downloading themes onto my phone and would like that theme.

I don't have my laptop on me, I'm at work and don't get out till 7 AM. I have the file on the memory stick of my phone though. If you could PM me your email or your cell phone number I could send it to you.
